How do I charge my Switch 2 with the power bank?
Attach the power bank magnetically to the back of the case, then connect the power bank to the console using the included USB-C cable. It supports up to 20W PD wired output.
Actual charging speed and additional playtime may vary depending on the game, screen brightness, network use, and battery level.
Does the power bank support wireless charging?
No. The magnetic connection only holds the power bank securely in place. You must connect the power bank to the Switch 2 with a USB-C cable to charge the console.
Can I dock the Switch 2 with the case installed?
Yes. Before placing the console in the official Switch 2 dock:
- Remove the front cover.
- Detach the power bank.
- Disconnect the charging cable.
- Gently place the console into the dock.
Do not force it. If the console does not slide in normally, remove it and check that the case is installed and aligned correctly.
Does the power bank add extra weight?
Yes. The 10,000mAh power bank weighs 189g and adds extra weight when attached. It can be removed for a lighter handheld setup when extra power is not needed.
Can I remove the Joy-Con 2 controllers and use the kickstand?
Yes. The split design lets you remove the Joy-Con 2 controllers without taking off the middle frame.
The U-shaped opening also keeps the console’s built-in kickstand accessible. Detach the power bank before using the console in tabletop mode.
How do I install and remove the case?
Fully insert each Joy-Con 2 controller into its grip. Make sure the soft top edge of the grip fully covers the upper edge of the controller.
When removing the middle frame, begin at the top edge. Do not force it if the case feels misaligned.
Can I use the front cover with thumb grips installed?
No. Remove any thumb grips before attaching the front cover. They may prevent the cover from closing properly and place pressure on the joysticks.
Is it normal for the console or power bank to feel warm?
Some warmth during charging and gameplay is normal. Keep all vents uncovered and avoid charging in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces.
Stop using the power bank if you notice unusual heat, swelling, visible damage, an unusual smell, or unstable charging.
Which Nintendo Switch models is this case compatible with?
This case is designed exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. It does not fit Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED, or Switch Lite.
